HI Annette and welcome to the forum. Our weather is pretty different from east to west and north to south.

East River (area east of the Missouri) does get humidity and our highs are varied. West River has a semi-arid climate so they have a low dewpoint and low humidity. The northern part of our state can get very cold and their temps can be 10 degrees less then in southern So. Dak.

As far as a high~I believe the record high in our state was 116 and that was tied last summer. It isn't unusual to have summer days in the 90s or low 100s. We have a lot shorter summers then you have in Az. though.

If you could be more specific as to the area you're interested in, we could give you links and be much more accurate then the general description I just provided.
