30 years ago or so my then-husband and I went to a family reunion at a place outside Rapid that had many old but serviceable cabins. The group had rented most of them, as I recall.

I do remember we stopped at the maze (I think it's still there?) on our way into town. I can't remember the name of the place with the cabins, though. Does this ring a bell with anyone?

Thanks for any info.

Canyon Lake cabins? There are were several cabins at Sylvan Lake. Several campgrounds have cabins. The other one that comes to mind is Palmer Gulch KOA close to Mount Rushmore.

Yes, the Maze was sold and that land will be redeveloped. It was not open this year. It sold in 2019.
