Not anymore. I guess there used to be one on the Southside but that was way before my time. I too love drive-ins. I went to one in Nebraska once and I thought it was really neat. I don't think any other Black Hills towns have a drive-in that I know of. In fact the only one in South Dakota that I know of is in Winner, which is about 3 hours southeast of here. Sorry!
There is one on the north end of Mitchell and one in Luverne, Minnesota (across the SD-MN border) if you want to take a trip through eastern SD. Sioux Falls has not had one since the late 1970s-early 1980s. My parents went to a drive-in on Burnside when they were dating in the very late 1970s, which is a mobile home park nowadays. Sioux Falls had one on South Minnesota Ave. before that time near the 33rd and Minnesota area (not sure exactly where) according to some old-timers.
OH yea, the good ole Starlite. It was open when I was young, but they closed it for several years when people lost interest in Drive in movies. We were so glad when it re-opened.
I love Drive ins too. I so wish there was one close. When we lived in Council Bluffs there was and still is a Drive in theater there. We used to live right across the street from it. The good ol days, Drive in theaters, Car hops, Gawd what happened to that sort of stuff. I was soo born in the wrong era.

Actually, we had car hops here just a few years ago. One of the realtors in town had bought Zesto and while he and his wife still had it, they went back to having car hops. Not a single place in town has that anymore though. I remember when I was young, the old A and W used to have them.
