Well compared to super markets where prices range from 2.90/lb on up. It pays to shop around. Even if you can get a half of half a family of two can have a decent supply for a decent deal.

That's a decent price. Up here in Sheridan Wyoming we pay $2.23 lb per quarter or $2.05 lb per half. Most of us get it cheaper as we process ourselves.

Velveeta makes regular cheese, lite cheese and a couple years ago come out with Mexican Cheese. It's got chopped jalapeno's and spices in it.
