I am making cherry crisp to bring to the thanksgiving dinner with relatives. I have not had much experience with baking but is worth practicing to get good at it.
Looking forward to the turkey, mashed potatoes, and desserts.
We are eating our traditional Thanksgiving dinner that we have for thirty years. We generally have it at our house. I do the turkey and stuffing and my wife does the hard stuff - pumpkin pies, green bean casserole, yams, twice baked potatoes, and cranberry jelly. Once in a while she throws in an apple crisp. This is the day I want to be three times my size so I can eat more!!

Hubby you are being modest!!! Great quality. You didn't mention that you took the whole bird and pans and covered it and put in in the frig and took myself and our crying daughter back to her apt. to try to find the offending vehicle that hit her. My sides took 2 minutes to stash; you were the one who did more work. Then you took the whole thing out and reset the oven and did "roasting the turkey" times two. You did an excellent job and I just want everyone to know how thankful we were even if we ate late, it tasted great.
Sounds like quite a labor of love for both of you! I hope your daughter is OK...
