I just realized I am going to have to change phone plans when I get out there. I currently have a go phone, and it looks like there isn't any covereage in the area.
Who are the most reliable carriers out there in the hills? Most major carriers have prepaid plans these days, so I wondered who you thought was best? How does Verizon do? Would Sprint be better? Or is there someone else all together I should look at?
Right now coverage is provided by Verizon and Alltel. Alltel is soon to become part ATT. Not positive about prepaid plans but I am happy with Alltel and looking forward to ATT and what they have to offer.
My dad has Sprint, and he is making the trip with us. Does anyone know if they have coverage?
He'll have coverage, but it'll probably be roaming. Sprint is non-existent in Western SD.
