Winner! Hey, that country seems to be prettylucky if you're playing the lottery.
You mean they have jobs available in Winner! You must be the winner!

It used to be a dirty little town on the edge of the Res. years ago, but in the last twenty years things have really changed out there.

Now they have all the feature comforts including the golden arches!

My wife said when she was growing up that every kid in Gregory or Tripp county could sing the little jingle: "Two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun." and yet they had no idea what a McDonalds was.

As a kid we occasionally got to Sioux Falls and we'd stop there at 41st and Minnesota, but my wife was a teenager before she had ever seen a McDonald's other than on TV.

If you fly into Sioux Falls and drive to Winner, you'll no doubt drive right past my farm. You ought to stop in and say howdy or at least honk when you go by, but then that might worry me as if I hear someone honking, I generally think that some of the livestock must be out and on the highway.

I am flying into Rapid City so no horn honking will ensue. What I have read and seen on the internet (on the net so it must be true),it looks to be a nice little town. Very excited now...

Thanks..thinking of getting the shooting instrument now. I am already trying to get moving companies lined up. Thinking of doing the ABF upack option in a 28 footer as it is about the same as renting uhaul. Not sure yet though. Really looking forward to my visit and hopefully an offer on the table. Gonna happen fast I think.

And one thing might be added about Winner. That part of South Dakota is in the banana belt.
