To my anti-science colleagues, this is what modern science can accomplish. They might also be worth listening to on other topics, like the environment, and the possible consequences of excess greenhouse gases.

What is with the super babe delivering this story?! She is gorgeous, but a bit distracting, honestly.

There have been two major American failures in recent weeks in addition to your already dead space program. Just leave space travel to the people who know what they are doing, so to the Europeans. It's still remarkable though how deep NASA has sunk.

The failures were in the private sector and deal with near-earth missions - something NASA wishes to move to the commercial sector. I seem to recall several NASA Mars rovers running around on the surface of Mars . BTW - I wonder what happened to that Beagle 2 Mars bullet, I mean Mars probe? Oh yea, it hammered itself onto the surface of Mars.

Next you'll say NASA didn't put men on the moon .

I don't think it sank, so much as simply dissolved. Which is all the worse. Because there's so little left around which to rebuild.

I'm not religious at all, but I don't go around insulting people who are, and I'd sure as hell do not go out of my way to be nasty to them.
You're funny.

These are countries filled with mostly Muslim people, and Islam lends itself well to despotic tyranny. Tyranny in the Mid East just kind of flows out naturally.

Be careful what you say on these boards because it might not disappear and you might choke on all that crow.

Am I missing something? The last two posts are just a bunch of black boxes.

Well...

On December 4th, 2014 NASA will launch its deep space exploration vehicle, Orion, in a two-orbit, high-speed re-entry test to evaluate launch and re-entry systems.

NASA continues to define the leading-edge in space exploration.

normally I'm the first one onto these threads proposing that when we make contact with distant orbs that we immediely try and blow them up but I find this mission pretty cool and for the time being I'm OK with just sticking and probing.

well done by the Euros (with American influence and technical and spiritual guidance)
