That cost covered 17 missions (11 of them manned) over a period of five years.

Pretty amazing to think about. To top that cost off, we were pouring money into defense at a crazy rate, only to turn around and destroy those weapons 30-40 years later. Talk about a waste of money.

For every dollar invested by the government the American economy and other countries economies have seen $7 to $14 in new revenue, all from spinoffs and licensing arrangements. That amounts to in $17.6 billion current NASA dollars spent to an economic boost worth as much as $246.4 billion annually.
SMH. It's not just Velcro and Teflon.

Not a waste of money, it makes the economy go around and keeps a huge number of people in jobs. They all spend their money on goods and services which is the economy driver.

The government taxes people who earn money, so they probably get 20% of this amount back and keep the tax department fully staffed.

If you consider the progress of humanity, our greatest technological innovations that drive progress come from warfare. to get internal combustion to power your car, you need to invent explosives to kill people.... microwaves come from nuclear bombs and penicillin from gun shot wounds...

normally you woudl spend 20 billion on a star wars program where satellites can launch nuclear-rockets to target any place one earth. This as horrible as it sounds has r&D potential to drive human development.... Building a star bucks on the moon just lacks the horrible connotation of war.

Space research and competition v war research and competition.... More science and less bloodshed !

They dont want to share the real science with us.

Here is a good place to start with many links about Konstantin Meyl.
https://www.bing.com/search?q=konsta...ZI&form=MOZSBR

Obviously this technology, and other related technologies are ready for the big time
around the world and beyond. The problem is money, sponsorship and increasing
awareness; overcoming the establishment suppression that exists.
The scalar wave transponder which Meyl built many years ago transferred energy
over the 6.78 mHz frequency which ran a computer 20 km away, and that is
cheap, old hat on a shoestring budget.

He's probably one of only a handful or less of professors teaching this anywhere.
All the American colleges still teach the antiquated, ignorant applications of
outdated energy models that are wasteful, limited and destructive. What's worse
is that they propose these laughable "alternative" energy systems as modern
and "green". Even their grandest theories are fundamentally not grounded in reality
but are the mathematical constructs of puerile minds like Einstein and Hawking.

The suppression of advancement is institutionalised. Gatekeepers with loads
of cabal money such as Elon Musk, Zuckerberg, the Google pair, Jeff Bezos,
Larry Ellison, Marc Benioff, Bill Gates, Mark Cuban, ad nausem are touted as visionaries
when they are nothing but appointed obstacle-makers for public consumption,
and the deep-state agencies which control this society have a policy of ruination.
I suspect the reason why they have such negative policies is that they want
to kill us slowly or quickly - and that we might not believe this until the events
start occuring that wipe out millions of us and send us into the stone age for
months or years, while they maintain control from far-away safe-havens,
engaging with what remains of civilization as the inflated effendi that again
will trickle-down solutions under their direct administration. They are the
technocratic elite who conceal first-tier science from the masses.
Have you ever heard of Alvin Toffler ? Look into him. He is powerful
in the control circles.. his projections have "come true" because they reflect
the agenda of this cabal for society. It is amazing how destructive and tyrannical
these people can be who they label as visionaries, when they are lunatics.

We have been forced to live in retarded and regressive circumstances for decades
by the scumbags who control all facets of American society. I do not see any
hope at all for America to overcome this. It would be necessary to implement
and construct these projects on a large scale in other countries with more freedom
and better minds in control of knowledge and large-scale application who have
the ability to resist infiltration and sabotage, and the ability to identify, target,
and execute the scions of evil wherever they may hide. That capability does not exist
within the boundaries or sphere of influence of "THE UNITED STATES" corporation.
