Says who? Where? No links, no supporting documentation = no proof / only hearsay.
The idea that the Mars Cydonia mesa, which under certain conditions gives the illusion of a 'face on Mars,' is evidence for life on Mars is nonsense.
By the way, here's the Cydonia mesa from another angle.

But studies do suggest that Mars once had a much thicker atmosphere than it has presently.
''In the thin air of Mars, water easily boils. Still, previous research has unearthed ample evidence that Mars was once covered in water, with features resembling dry riverbeds and minerals that could have formed only in the presence of water. This suggests that the Martian atmosphere was once much thicker than it is today, with seas that could have supported life billions of years ago.''
I am not saying I believe this, but it would make some sense to have a structure shaped just right so that shadows appeared each time the sun was in a particular position.
If the shadows looked like some particular thing, like a face or something else recognizable, then it would be like an art piece and furthermore, if the civilisation was zipping around in spaceships, then they would see it far more than a refief structure of a head or other thing carved out of a mesa.
Truth is, we just dont know but it is unlikely to be a carved face as most people think of the structure.

I primarily replied regarding your apparent denial in posts #6 and 10 that Mars had a much thicker atmosphere in the past. As shown, based on studies, scientists believe that it did. Is there some reason you didn't comment on that?

I didn't say any of that. I said that scientists believe that Mars once had a much thicker atmosphere than it presently has. However, it is entirely possible that there was once some kind of simple life on Mars.
