The most recent reports are that no photos of the goo (gel-like substance) have been released yet. Only photos of the crater itself from a distance. Some opinions are that it may be a glass-like material that formed by heat from the impact that formed the crater. The crater looks pretty small, maybe a couple of feet or so wide.
