Was reading this article on Tabby's star, why is this star mysterious ? Does it not follow rules of Physics ?

It would be nice to get a close up look. They can't explain the dimming of the star.Some even speculated that it a alien civilization building a dyson sphere around the star.

The other reason is its extreme brightness which cannot be explained. In 2016 a group of astronomers purposed that the star had eaten a planet causing the extreme brightness. The stars brightness changes over time changing as much as 22 percent less light last year it was measured at 5 percent and it appears to be random there is no pattern.

The star is 1,470 light years away, so even with the size of the JWST mirror I suspect it's not going to resolve much detail unless the system is expansive.
