Elon Musk and SpaceX and NASA already build spaceships and star-ships as well as others in the field providing parts, support and logistics.
A starship is a space craft which is capable of interstellar travel. At the moment ships that can travel from one star to another star are still science fiction.

Manned ships that can travel from one star to another are science fiction. Voyager 1 is currently in interstellar space and is scheduled to arrive at AC +79 3888 (Gliese 445) in 40,000 years.
