Can anyone recommend an honest reliable auto mechanic in Spokane Valley for general maintenance & repair work? I had a great mechanic when we lived in Everett, but it took me about fifteen years to find him.....& then we left!

I know what you mean - we used to go the same family owned garage in town for ages since back in the early 80's, but when the parents stepped down and let the boys take over, the boys were not as conscientious at their Mom & Dad... service soon plummeted while costs steadily creeped higher (and they started trying to pull stunts on us to make a buck), so it took us ages to find another garage we could trust that wasn't always either trying to pull something, were totally incompetent, or both.

Finally found one we take all of our cars to now, and we even take the pride of the family there now and I know I can trust her with them (a collector car that the family calls 'Emma'). We go to Tunetech.net now. They're reasonable, competent, and best of all they're nice guys easy to talk to that will actually listen to you and get the job done right the first time, and in short order.

For what it's worth, I don't think you'll be disappointed. They have two shops now - one in the Valley and one in town. Can only speak to the service we've received from the guys in the Valley though - they're on the ball, so I'd have to assume the guys in town are too? (not doing this for any other reason than I know how hard it is to find a mechanic that wont stick it to you and when you find a good one you want them to do good and hopefully stick around lol)

Good luck!
