I am looking for a place to go sharp shooting with my wife! She is a first timer! I am looking for a place outdoors and Free . I would really like to find a nice place on public land. We have been to a nice spot by fish trap. However it is busy with hikers and day trippers. I would like everyone's input on a good location close to Spokane.
Thanks

I used to shoot in a pit on public land on either W. Euclid/N. Spotted/W. Trails Road...one of those three--I can't remember which road access was actually on, but it's in the area where those three all pretty well come together on the west side of town.

There was also a pit out on South Spotted road--again on the west side of town. I don't recall ever seeing anyone at either place that wasn't there to shoot.

Disclaimer...I haven't shot at either spot in a while---for all I know they're in subdivisions now...

Good luck!

This is where I go. It's free and very rarely crowded. I take my boys out there shooting from time to time.
