Relocating & need affordable short term rental or extended stay advice please. (Spokane: apartment complexes)

Myself my husband and 3 children will be relocating from the Sacramento, CA area to Spokane in the spring. We would like to move into a 3 bedroom house ideally or an apartment with a short term lease (like 3 months tops), but most of the ads on craigslist are through rental companies or private owners who will require proof of income or a job offer letter. since we will be relocating without job offers, I have been researching short term rentals and extended stay's in the area and haven't found much. We can pay a deposit and up to 3 months rent in advance in lieu of having proof of income. I haven't had luck finding any apartment complexes that offer 3 month leases so that we could just pay up front for the lease term. We could live in an apartment temporarily until we have jobs and are able to get into a house in the Shadle area as planned. We don't want to pay more than $800 monthly tops for a short term rental. Also, if anyone of any affordable month to month or extended stays please let me know. Does anyone know of any private homeowners that would accept a few months rent paid in advance from a tenant instead of proof of income? Thank you for your help.

My landlord up there only required a deposit, first and last, and a good credit report.

I would imagine it wouldn't be too hard to find a similar situation.
