Forty minutes is probably about right. There may be the rare day that there are traffic slow-downs on I-90, usually due to an accident, but that's semi-uncommon. There are certainly much worse commutes to have to do.

What do you want to know about the climate? That's a pretty broad-scope question that you can certainly research most of the climate info unless you have a specific question. Generally, hot/dry in the summer, cold and gray and snowy in the winter, with short springs and falls in-between.

Okay so it doesn't seem bad at all as a commute I was looking and think cour de Alene is one of the most beutiful areas I have laid eyes on it reminds me of lake George where I'm from here in upstate ny. Not that I wouldn't live in Spokane , I just thought my job at Boise airport would be close til I realiEd its 7 hours away however I could have a transfer to Spokane to live in de Alene .

Thank you that's pretty much what I was looking for climate wise , I prefer low humidity . Could do without winter but I'm from New York so it's fine if I can live in that beauty
