I'm hoping to find one or two horse people here..We're moving from SoCal to Spokane area, I just don't know where is best for horse owners. Do I, for sure, need a barn? Or would a 3 sides covered shelter do it?
I can't seem to find a decent house with a barn under $200K.

Please guide me!

You are not going to find a decent place for under $200K with acreage around here. Will need to go way out if you even find it.

I don't need a lot, just 2 acres would do it (if city rules allow 2 horses) :/

Houses are going fast here. Low inventory!

I bought a 3BR/2BA new build in a community where the plan I bought without options started at $204K. Now 12 months later, that same plan starts at $224K.

I'm a horse person.
Look out toward Nine Mile Falls. You don't need a barn...a three sided shelter works fine but I think you'll need a little more land than two acres. Not sure what the zoning is.

Lots of horses in Nine Mile Falls but budget would need to double. Probably will probably have to look way further out of town

@mistyriver Is that area hilly or mountainous? Just asking because hubby has height phobia and we need to live in a pretty much plain and flat area :/

Could you name a couple of cities so I can look it up in realtor.com or zillow? I'm looking into Nine Miles Falls right now. How is traffic and road conditions in case I work in Spokane?
