What exactly are you wanting a comparison of? Are you referring to property taxes? If so, I'm not sure. My hubby and I have not actually lived in Spokane as adults for longer than a few months, so we've never owned a home there. And the 2 years we've been in SW Idaho we've not owned a home, so I don't know about the property taxes here either. Sorry!

Spokane is beautiful nature-wise but majority of people are scum, they are fat, disgusting potheads who are ignorant and look to just fight, drink and get ****faced at bars, most people only work as bartenders or servers my age, except for occasional a health care worker. People just want to party and people who are actually trying to go anywhere in life and have goals are treated are discriminated against, its like a society of mediocrity and small town politics. Worst drivers ever. People look genuinely angry. its terrible. Steer clear if you can. I came here for school and am transferring. This is my objective opinion. I have no reason to be biased.

Default I hate to break it you...

The only thing I knew about Spokane was what I read on the Idaho forum. It wasn't good. I don't know if all of you Spokane-lovers realize this, but the city is not generally well-though of in Idaho. They blame all kinds of things on the proximity of Spokane to Idaho, from traffic to crime to exporting their down-and-outs. So I was a bit surprised to read the title of this thread, and even more astonished when I read about all the positive attributes. My daughter has a friend who goes to Gonzaga, so I guess we will just have to go up there (from California) for a visit and check the place out for ourselves!

Spokane, it seems, is not well thought of by a lot of people. Yet, there are still people who live here and call it home and actually like it. A lot of people in Spokane don't think to highly of Idahoan's either

I'm not sure any of the "Spokane lovers" are saying this is a perfect city, the best city, or even a top 10 city. What we are saying is that it's a pretty decent place to live, raise kids and that there are good people here (just like there are everywhere). We acknowledge the flaws especially the high property crime but most of us like it here. You might to. Or not, either way there are people who like Spokane. And those that do not.

Who dug this post out of antiquity? To put it simply, Spokane sucks. Anyone who says otherwise is either selling real estate or high it's infamous meth.

One of the dip**** sockpuppets that come on here and post one thing, resurrected the thread. Don't worry they'll be back under a different name.

What an incredibly well stated opinion you have. I mean it's nuianced and does not paint with a broad brush *snort*. It's well thought out and we can all tell you have thouroughly researched and made an informed decision about Spokane. It's great that you're able to come on here and so eloquently pontificate about this city.

He forgot a crucial preposition, too.

I think we have determined that I am neither a realtor nor a profiteer in your last post of this nature. I also don't do meth (or any drugs really because I have a security clearance to worry about). I love Spokane, but feel left out...
