Former Pro Wrestler Barry Windham who was a star in the old NWA territories (particularly Florida and Mid Atlantic), the WWF in the early-mid 80's, and later the organization that became WCW was found by real life brother in law Mike Rotundo laying on the ground a few days ago and has been hospitalized. There are differing reports as to his status. It could be a heart attack or a stroke but no one has been able to 100% confirm anything for sure. Hopefully he recovers. Windham was a great wrestler. For all of you smart alecks who will say it's fake and blah blah, Windham was very good in the ring. He was versatile and athletic. He put on a great performance. He was a decent interview. There had been talks of making him World Champion. His matches with Ric Flair in the 80's were classics. As a true old school fan I wish him a speedy recovery. Hopefully others will join me in offering get well wishes.

That really sucks to hear. He was great in the ring and he even made a stiff Lex Luger look good which is no easy feat.
