Good win for Scotland and England. Looks like its England's now unless the Welsh do something against them on the last day. Wales got the result yesterday. Not the best game but I am sure Welsh fans will be happy.

I have to say I am surprised at the way Italy have gone since beating France. I thought they would of had a boost and did better this year. Surprised at the collapse in the Italian scrum to.
The Italy scrum was a surprise for me too, normally so bankable but went to pieces against what isn't a particularly inspiring, though pretty solid, Welsh pack. I believe your right about Kidney too, he may be building for the World Cup but I think it's doubtful he'll be having anything to do with the squad when it's time for it.

[edit] With regards to a permanent Rugby Union thread I'd be more than happy to see one of them. How do you go about getting one started with a sticky and a 'tab' like the other sports?

Lancaster says Owen Farrell is 50/50 for Italy, and won't play if there's any risk.

Why the long wait until the next fixtures? Pretty annoying.

Anyway HUGE game against Wales up next for Scotland, if we beat them...... who knows! Altough beatind both Wales and France is a tough task.

Parisse will play against England: Six Nations: Sergio Parisse cleared to face England | Live Rugby News | ESPN Scrum

His return as well as Farrell's absence definitely make things more interesting, but I still see England winning the slam.

Also, based off of this year's tournament, who do you think has secured a roster spot for the Lions tour, and who might be an interesting borderline pick? I'm interested to see if the squad will include both Lawes and Launchbury.

Very good from Ireland.

The rain is going against the French. Its killing Michalak's kicking game. In our favour. Jackson getting a boost in confidence and playing really well.

I'd say a penalty. He was balked in his attempt to get to the ball but I don't believe he was prevented from scoring a try. I don't think he'd have got there first to be honest.

I dunno. It is hard to say and a penalty would probably be fair but we still didn't get the penalty which could of won us the game.

No excuses though. Ireland are bad. Kidney needs to go. We make to many mistakes. I would like to see Conor O'Shea take the job but he says he wont be in the running. Just hope the IRFU don't renew Kidneys contract in the summer.

It was also sad to see the last of BOD at home. Best rugby player off all time in my eyes. Never seen anyone as good as him. Shame he couldn't go out with a Grand Slam or something. Italy away would of been a perfect way to win one.
