Like college for the intensity of the rivalries.. some schools playing each other for 100+ years.. in front of 100,000 fans (or close to it).. goal posts can still get torn down. Universities with deep regional & generational support (Nebraska, 'Bama, Oklahoma, Notre Dame, WVU, etc). I like the intensity of the rivalries & provincial fan-bases.
Like the pro game for the high-level of play.. and I think the NFL has the most intense & interesting playoff season. (my opinion). Regional NFL rivalries aren't as good as college tho, teams can & have re-located, and free agency dilutes career-long rivalries that used to exist between opponents.
I'm definitely a football guy first. NFL, followed by college. Then baseball. Though if the Indians are out of it, I don't care. As for the NBA, I'll root for the Cavs being from Cleveland and all, but it's turned into quite the spectacle anymore.
I grew up on Baseball, NFL & NBA. These days it's Global Futbol.
No commercials. No need for off the field filler. Matches end in 90 minutes. I'm usually left thirsting for more, which is rare for American sports today.
I like golf though I haven't played it in a few years, tennis, baseball/softball, hockey, pro/college/arena football, basketball, auto racing (mostly NASCAR though I like a few good races from Indy Car), bowling, lacrosse, soccer, and any other Olympic sport.
