Didn't see the last two sets. Was way too late for my bedtime. The first couple sets was sort of a wash IMO.
Yep - me too.
On another note, why in the world is ESPN and TNN showing the exact same match? Isn't there anything else going on other than the Williams' sisters?
edit: nevermind, looks like ESPN just switched to Bellis' match for just short breakaway...guess Williams sisters are like Tiger Woods, everyone wants to see them play.
So far no big surprises at who made it to the Quarter Final. The only two who should be there but not are Nadal and Tsonga, but everyone else deserves to be there.
I thought Nishikori totally whooped Raoonic's ass and the only way Raonic was staying alive for so long was because his almost guaranteed 130 - 140 mph first serve.
Great match from Kei. Thank you for saving tennis. Raonic is so untalented...he's just (too quote Johnny Groove from MensTennisForums): a serve, a sleeve, and a maple leaf.
Nervous for Federer against Monfils. There match in Cincy was close...and Monfils just saved tennis by beating Divatrov. But unfortunately, Divatrov has so modelled his game with Federer's that the Divatrov Curse has started this year...all players this year that have played Divatrov and Federer consecutively have beaten both (most recently, Tsonga at Toronto)...because Divatrov is perfect preparation for Federer.
Wozniacki into semifinals, next up against Peng. Should be a great match, but I'm scared Wozniacki will be destroyed by Peng's Seles-esque game. Please, no. I need Wozniacki to finally win her Slam
I will be surprised if Kei doesn't make it to the Semis.
Kei is going to be too exhausted for Stan da Man.
