I'm all for a few 'Characters' in tennis, but Kyrgios has confused 'character' with 'douchebag'.
He's nothing but an ignorant, immature little sh1t. I couldn't stand his little boy antics at Wimbledon, and he hasn't improved since then by the look of things.
He clearly has no respect for his fellow players, the game itself or, if his comments about Donna Vekic are any guide, for women either. She's just something his mate 'banged'
I hope the ATP bans him for a while. Tennis is a classy sport compared to most. At the risk of sounding 'stuffy' I'd like it to stay that way.

He has been fined, rumoured to be about $10K.
But yes, he really needs a suspension to teach him a lesson.
Tennis is not like cricket or football (various codes) - where sledging is considered part of the culture.
Kyrgios managed to insult Stan Wawrinka, Thanasi Kokkinakis (who is supposed to be a good friend of Kyrgios'), AND WTA player Donna Vekic all in one comment. (He also then criticized Rafael Nadal in a separate comment after the match.)
With Kyrgios' insult of Wawrinka coming on the heels of Kyrgios tanking a game against Richard Gasquet at Wimbledon just over a month earlier, Kyrgios is quickly becoming one of my least favorite players. (I also think he's lacking in his return game and is mostly about his serve, not quite as much as say John Isner, Ivo Karlovic, or Milos Raonic, but not too far off, and that doesn't appeal to me either.)
We have an all star second half for the quarter finals at Montreal. Murray vs. the defending Champion, Tsonga is a toss up. Nishikori vs. Nadal will be interesting.
The first half is all about how well Djokovic is going to handle Isner's serves.
It'll be interesting to see how Nadal performs at the US Open. I will say that Nishikori seems to be peaking once again prior to the US Open, that makes the matchup between him and Nadal in the Rogers Cup that much more interesting.
I'd love to see Nishikori make another run and win the US Open this time. He's one of the guys who can beat Djokovic at the Open, he played brilliantly against him last year. I say this and he'll wear the collar...
(Speaking of peaking, Isner has kind of came out of nowhere although he does generally do well prior to the US Open.)
Even though Nadal beat Youzhny 6-3, 6-3, but based on the way Nadal played, I knew he won't get passed the top 8 players like Nishikori. And, I was right.
