What do you all think of Ronda saying she considered suicide after her loss to Holly Holm? I hope she got some psychiatric help if her whole worth is based upon never losing fights. I can't recall any sort of athlete that ever said they considered suicide after a loss.

Ronda Rousey says she considered suicide after loss to Holly Holm

I'd never heard of Ronda Rousey before this mess

Good on her for grabbing a cheque I suppose

even if it is to declare Suicidality in a world where some folk Actually Struggle with this, Daily, for Real and Tangible and Ongoing Reasons which have nothing to do with something as insignificant as losing a freakin match.

The UFC hyped her so much and I really believe she believed her own hype. She had never fought anyone with the striking abilities of her opponent(Holm Holm). She was outclassed and had never been hit like that. I am not a fan of Rhonda Rousey but I feel bad if she really considered suicide.

If you read the article, it was a fleeting thought while she was in the ER, while she was still not even-keeled yet after her knock-out. It's not like she considered it for days or weeks, it was just in that moment of sadness while sitting in the hospital wondering if she still had a future. Doesn't make her anything but human, JMO.

She looks great on the SI Swimsuit Edition cover, and I am so glad they are including all different female body types this time.

She obviously needed a lesson on humility. Glad she lost. Proud man beater. If she wasn't a woman, she'd be called a "thug."

Not sure how her thoughts are an event.

I'm glad she pulled herself together for the body paint bathing suit.

Maybe like Gina Carano went into entertainment full time when she lost on her way to mainstream best fighter ever status Ronda Rousey will shift to Hollywood?

I don't really know anything about that sport. I mainly know her from entertainment sources like the Today show (where they had a story about the 3 SI Swimsuit covers). I do predict Dancing with the Stars in her future, though.
