Probably someone who can do the Iron Man type stuff where biking running and swimming in an all out endurance race can be huge look at the Diaz bothers in MMA.

Where Nate Diaz was still in shape enough to go out and beat Conner McGreggor i at UFC 196 due to the his extensive fight experience and short the 10 days fight notice was not as much of factor since he has triathlon type endurance.

I've always been impressed with mall walkers.

Basketball.

A good ballplayer will have great endurance, coordination (dribbling a basketball while avoiding the outstretched arms of a great defender requires lots of coordination), decent strength, good speed etc.

Defensive backs in football aren't too far behind. Basically a more explosive soccer player with 25 extra lbs of muscle.

The best athletes are people that could step into another sport and at least be competent. The Deion Sanders' and Bo Jackson's of the world are a good example.

I don't think having "the best" athletes makes me appreciate a sport more. For example, I'm not a big football fan so I couldn't care less about how athletic they are. I like watching college basketball better than pros even though almost every player on bad NBA teams is more athletic. I think I'm more in awe of inferior athletes/teams that somehow overcome the disadvantage.
