I get it now. You're 14 years old. Only young adolescents and idiots make ridiculous all-over-the-place assumptions like this. I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt by assuming you're 14, obviously.

If there were fewer swimming events, Michael Phelps would have fewer gold medals.

I learned a lot from this thread.

Phelps would then just compete in rowing or gymnastics or weight lifting to obtain how many total medals he felt comfortable in obtaining.

Maybe pingpong and synchronized swimming as well?

At 193cm, he has zero chance in men's gymnastics. No coach would want him in the first place. Such height would give him a huge disadvantage in weight lifting too, considering the distance he needs to lift is far more than someone who is 165cm.

He is a genius athlete the world gets to have once in 100 years. But let's not over glorify him. You talk like you are insane today.

MP is a incredible swimmer. However, he is only good in swimming and the number of medals he won can only be compared with other swimmers, not athletes in other areas, for the sheer fact that others simply don't have so many events available to win 7 or 8 medals in one Olympics.
