They're both pretty bad, but, the LA Angels of Anaheim, was done in a sneaky way to honor an agreement with the City of Anaheim.
Plus, a lot of LA people, say that Orange County is separate from LA.
Golden Knights is terrible. It's a high school football name not a professional sports team. Angels is fine, the other stuff is window dressing almost everyone ignores.

Why not the Silver Knights (Nevada is the Silver State)?
