Hot Dog , and other food eating contest, are despicable exercises of pure gluttony by people with no conscience

With millions starving in the world just how contestants (gluttons really) can stuff their faces with food is beyond my sense of reason.

And now we hear from the PC easily offended crowd.

You don't understand that by eating these hot dogs, they're saving untold numbers of people's lives by removing these organically impure foods with no nutritional value. Every hot dog eating contest is a noble step towards the liberal's idealistic reach toward a perfect rainbow playland world. Kumbaya!!!!

I don't know about you , and other people, but the gluttony that is food eating contest offends my moral compass of right and wrong.

I doubt that many people here have witnessed real hunger so to them it doesn't exist. A hungry child's blank stare will rip your guts out if you have any feelings at all.

Don't kid yourself hunger is VERY real.

People that don't believe that real hunger exist are self centered as well as spoiled. THAT'S sad!!!

Perhaps all sports are morally offensive considering the massive amounts of hot dogs, pizza, beer, etc that they inspire millions upon millions of fans to consume. And what about all the money funneled into sports? We could darn near end world hunger by redirecting the time/money for 1 season.

What you say is true...to a point. It's the economy really.

Sports itself is just an avenue to sell (for a price so it's self limiting) food to the spectators some of whom are hungry fussy kids.
