Other than College football, I've pretty much quit watching all other sports, so "all of the above" works for me.

Not me.

I like to play and watch.

My dad didn't play, but he liked to watch on TV, and I have fond memories of watching with him.

My grandparents (maternal) had a house on a golf course.

Fishing, soccer, hockey, nascar, and any women's sport that is not gymnastics or tennis are the worst for me.

Fishing as a sport?
Well I suppose it’s somewhere in between a hobby or a pastime, or a competitive sport for some.
I know some guys that are right into it, and their main interest and topic of conversation.
Watching TV shows about it though and contests, yeah I agree it’s incredibly boring.
Car racing in any form, I’m looking for the channel change button too.

Pickleball. Its even got fans watching!! You thought tennis was hard to watch. One to be honest is freaking easy as hell to learn. I am very good at pickleball and it takes like 5 mins to be really good at it even if you have no athletic genes.

Tennis on the other hand takes years and years to get good at.

Eh... In each and every sport, there is "good," and then there is "PRO good."

Does the English premier league define all soccer or any specific league?? Soccer predates it so whatever issue a person has with the EPL is not relevant to soccer as a sport. The NFL is a league of a sport that was around decades before its creation. College football was wildly popular before TV or even radio, so Americans took to it. So, TV adverts has little to do with the popularity.
