He was always entertaining. I remember when he came into WCCW as a face under the name of Big Daddy Bundy....he was supposed to have been discovered by Fritz von Erich and trained to be a part of the von Erich crew. Along the way, the Heel manager Gary Hart hired him away, turned him against the Von Erichs. He lost a hair match, I think to Kerry, and adopted the Bald Head style thereafter. He later left and went to WWF(wwe) as a heel and challenged Hulk in a cage match in one fo the Rasslemanias.

He also did some acting on TV and in film along the way.

He is reported to have been a really great guy in real life, in spite of his heel persona on the show.

Bundy started in the WWF as job guy (Tv loser). If he did not venture out it is questionable if he would have achieved the success he did. Due to his size and potential he was smart to do so. Some other guys had real jobs and did not care. Plus the WWF paid guys well to lose on TV, so many were happy to remain in that role. Bundy, Jim Duggan, and a few others had higher aspirations and were able to reach the big time. He had a great career. He did not get caught up in drugs like a lot of others did. The caus eof death has not been released, but I am sure it had something to do with being over 400 lbs.
