Who knew that anyone still did breakdancing? I thought it was a passing 70s fad, and wouldn't ever think of other countries doing it. I guess someone on the IOC is anxious to revive it for some reason. I'd rather see them add just about anything else, even cornhole.
And about as relevant an Olympic sport as double-Dutch jump-roping.
So what makes something relevant to be an Olympic Sport? Is Curling relevant for example?
Breaking is one of four new sports coming to Olympic competition in 2024. Skateboarding, Climbing and Surfing the other three.
I gave up watching or caring about the Olympics years ago.
The IOC is one of the world's most corrupt organizations.
