So Nadal has a legit chance at winning Roland Garros (duh) and Wimbledon, plus he won the US Open the last time he played it (2019) and has won US Open 4 times (despite not playing 2012, 2014, 2020 and 2021).
Yeah, that’s the thing. And Medvedev is a beast on hard court too.

I guess our real chance of a calendar year grand slam is Barty. She’s great on all courts and the way it is looking now, she’s headed for a very good season. So I wouldn’t be surprised if she makes it all the way.

Rafa survives his second service game, but gets broken on his third.

He shouldn't have let that one ball in that third service game that he could have hit go.

Three times as many unforced errors on the backhand for Rafa so far in the match...15-5.

What a weird set.

Two breaks each.

Rafa was up 5-3 and one break, then 13-14 minute game nine where he loses on the fifth break point after only one set point.

Then both hold.

6-5 Rafa going into game twelve, and Medvedev holds.

6 all.
