True, always been that way.

Medvedev v Auger-Aliassime was an absolutely incredible tennis match. Kind of a heartbreaker... it would have been really exciting to see Felix win.

Yep Felix had match point in the 4th Set.
And both players won exactly 182 points each.

Medvedev vs. Tsitsipas should be an even more interesting one.

I might concentrate more on the male matches going forward. The top female players have zero consistency in their playing, except for Barty, which is why she will most definitely will the championship. Collins stands no chance against her. And I don’t even understand how Madison Keys made it as far as the semis. What a mess the female matches turned out to be!

Nadal def. Berrettini 63 62 36 63
Nadal returned Berrettini's 2nd Serve from on/inside the baseline for first 2 sets, then far behind the baseline in 3rd Set.

Medvedev def. Tsitisipas 76(5) 46 64 61
Medvedev saved breakpoints at start of 3rd Set, and Tsitsipas could not maintain the level after that.

2nd Serve average in SF:
Nadal = 103mph
Berrettini = 103mph
Medvedev = 93mph
Tsitsipas = 94mph

Well I'm depressed about the outcome of Tsitsipas v Medvedev. Stefanos played beautifully. He is like a dancer, every movement is so athletic and graceful. Medvedev plays like he wants to get this over with as fast as possible. Will Nadal beat him in the final??

Really? I didn’t know you were a Tsitsipas fan.

I must say tho, it was a great match. Both Tsitsipas and Medvedev played some exceptional tennis. I think what killed Tsitsipas at the end is that he started losing momentum and started making more errors, while Medvedev was raising his level and getting better! So he ended up getting more break points. Should be fun watching the final! Nadal is going to be a beast!

Barty down 5-1 in the 2nd set, rallies, and ultimately doesn’t lose a set the entire Australian Open.
