It's the match we have been waiting for. I wish it were the final, but you have to think the winner is the heavy favorite.

Womens final now decided,

Iga Swiatek vs Karolina Muchova

Muchova upset the 2nd seed and ranked Sabalenka.
Don’t know a lot about Muchova, she was unseeded for this tournament and her previous career high ranking was #19, with one career title to her name.
I thought she may have been mainly a doubles player, but apparently not.

Wow..........following from work. So, first two sets great tennis, then Alcaraz bonked?

Was he using too much energy early in the match, or is it just a bad break for the 20 year old?

He cramped in the third set and that was it for him, he couldn't recover.

Well done to Iga Swiatek to win her 4th Major title, and 3rd French Open:

Admittedly I don’t follow the WTA as closely as the ATP tour, so her opponent was somewhat of an unknown to me, but put up a great fight in the final.

Djokovic did it and may well win 1 or 2 more majors this year. GOAT!

Novak started to land his 1st serve and figured out Ruud's serve near the end of the first set, and that was that. 23 and counting. It has to end soon........but not yesterday.
