Sinner is on the rise, I expect more Slam titles from him this year. He's figured something out, not sure what yet, need to watch more tennis.....

In other news Novak fired Goran (not going to attempt the last name) as his coach after his rough start to the season. I read he was going to focus on clay, French Open and the Olympics, perhaps skipping grass season. He knows the pack has caught him, and seems aware he needs to pick his moments from here on out to leave on his terms.

Absolutely a great match.
Dimitrov has turned back the clock, and playing at his best again.
It may not be quite enough against Sinner though in the final.
In the women’s, big serving Elena Rybakina should be the favorite against Danielle Collins.

Wonderful for Danielle Collins to win the Miami Open in what she says is her final year of professional tennis.

Yes it is great news, and her biggest career title to date.
The extra rankings points get her back to being seeded for all the WTA events now too.
Didn’t know she’d been battling health issues for quite a few years now, including rheumatoid arthritis :

Totally understandable that she’s decided this will be her last year on the tour.

Congrats to Sinner on winning the Miami title.
He’s now 22-1 so far this season with 3 titles.
Clay court season now begins !

Nadal's back, he beat Rublev 6-1 in a practice set at Barcelona today.
The injury nightmare is over, and so are the pretenders...

Tsitsipas vs Ruud for the Monte Carlo Masters final now.
Tsitsipas obviously likes this court, beating Sinner in 3, while Ruud also overcame Djokovic in 3.

Stef really needed this victory. There was some "luck" involved along the way (especially in his match against Sinner) but he also did play well throughout the tournament.

There sure was some questionable officiating going on in Monte Carlo. I guess "Hawk-Eye" will be used at all ATP tour events starting next year so that'll help. But it wasn't just bad line calls. Another issue that stood out was Holger Rune getting a code violation for making a gesture telling the crowd to be quiet, but when Djokovic stared down a spectator and ranted at him including screaming "shut the f*** up" there was no penalty.
