Remember the Titans (highly fictionalized version of the real story, but a really good movie nonetheless), We Are Marshall, Miracle, Rocky, Rocky III, Hoosiers, Bull Durham. These two might be borderline as to whether they qualify as sports movies, but if they do: Field of Dreams and Breaking Away.

It's hard to pick; I like a lot of them. Remember the Titans is very good as is Glory Road. I agree with ogre on the Rocky movies. The early ones were good. Don't leave out Rudy.
