It's not a secret that lately Russia US and China were only top 3 finalists in past summer Olympic games since the collapse of Soviet Union, that's why in this poll i will include only them and option "Other Country "
China will win they have 44 Golds with still more predicted to come, China have a stronger team than previous where as the US team have a weaker team than the recent previous Olympics. The US will probably finish with more medals overall but cant see them catching China now for the Gold tally.
Um, excuse me, but nobody "wins" the Olympics. I think the idea behind the poll was to guess which country is going to go home with the most medals. The summer Games generally go like this: the United States will win more medals than anyone else overall. But the host country will take more gold. Strange how this happens every four years, but who am I to argue?
Um, I don't think the OP poster meant who will "win" the Olympics but more like who will win the most medals and as stated in my previous post China will "win" the most Gold medals as I dont believe any nation can catch them up now with 3 days left.
UK you are not right, US has more totals now than China, as i understand 1gold 3 points 1 silver 2 points 1 bronze 1 point, Those Chinese can't count for ****, i'm afraid USA will win again, Russia thrid place China second !

I think you misread my post I always said that the US would have more overall medals than China but you have lost me with the points is that something you have made up or is that how it works where you are but I have always known the Olympics table added by the total of Golds which make sense you cant get better than Gold. So in that case China are on top with the US 2nd and it will be a battle for 3rd.
