I don`t play pool but I do snooker..Only occasionally as a social thing these days. I used to play league but it got a little time consuming..Only an average player. Best break 52, but that was some time ago when my eyes were better,,

Default Searching for billiards league

I am searching for a billiards league in the Hampton Roads area where I can practice playing pool with others. I am a beginner player, but am pretty good and could probably participate in tournaments if I could spend some time honing my skills. Anyone know where I can get more involved in a league?

You can find a local league through this site: American Poolplayers Association - World's Largest Pool League. 8 ball and 9 ball. There is a handicapping system which levels the playing field somewhat... I play every week. Currently ranked as a skill level 4 but have been winning lately and will most likely be bumped up to a 5....
