Yes he choked calling Clayton a clown and some other worthless words about his thoughts, but i honestly though he was one one of the best football analysis!
His replacements are average at best.
Point in mind, i don't watch the 4 letter network as much.
Any thoughts?
The more the years go on, the less I watch of ESPN.
I hate, HATE watching Sportscenter. Occasionally I will have it on real early or late when nothing is on, but I just despise what that channel has become: A bunch of whiny windbags that make an opinion one day and run away from it the next, or the Sportscenter idiots (ie Chris Berman or Stuart Scott) who have to add all their flair to every highlight. When I want commentary, thats one thing. When I am watching highlights, I want to see Highlights, not some moron screaming over every one of them.
Nothing worse than when a player breaks a big run and Berman sits there with his... Woot.......Woot......Woot..Woot... OMG!! I wanna punch the damn tv! Or Stuart Scott: He's goes for a three... The King blocks it! Homie don't play that round here! Grrrrr!!!!
Good call wellness. Harold Reynolds was one of the most capable baseball analysts on television. He gave a relaxed but informative look at the game that the average fan could understand.
I hadn't even noticed Salisbury was gone until I read your post!! That tells you how much I missed him. I always thought he was a knucklehead and could not stand listening to his big yap! Just my opinion.
Stuart Scott has created a monster. He seems to have been the first to start with the sound effects and such to make it appear 'cool'. Now you have a bunch of knockoffs where it just seems forced. Even Stuart Scott's effects seem forced from time to time.
