The worst thing Goddell has done was take away most of the celebrations....
He shouldn't be on here.

Well, Goddell's league is one of the big 4 North American sports, however, I will say he's the best of the 4, by far.

They're all pretty much booed everywhere they go except for maybe Goodell (at least not yet).
As far as the NHL goes, I'd say that to me nothing says ice hockey like 100+ degree heat and Saguaro cacti. I know there are snowbirds in Phoenix, but aren't they usually gone before the season ends?

it has to be either Stern or Bettman, has to be.
Gary Bettman, aka, Satan , was Stern's 3rd in command at the NBA before coming over to royally fvck up the great, tradition laden sport of hockey.
he's basically succeded in NBA-ing the NHL with in-your-face marketing about a select individual, favortism to star players, reffing conspiracies, and favoring certain teams. Many fans believe the league favors certain players and teams and activly encourages/pushes them to get their desired results.
he is routinely hated, no matter where he goes. but in a sense he learned alot of his shenanigans from stern so....

The worst thing is that he had to take the celebrations away at all. Players are paid to score. They need to act like professionals. They arent the Harlem Globetrotters. One of my least favorite things about the NFL is how players celebrate after everything. It would be like if I got up a did a dance every time I finished a project at work. There job is to perform. There is no need to celebrate every little play.
There is already enough stoppage in football. The average NFL game is 3 hours and 15 minutes long but there is only 12 minutes of actual game play. Anything that can be done to lessen this gap is welcome in my mind.

Gary Bettman quite easily. I cannot believe I would ever want the return of John Ziegler but he was far better than Bettman. I used to be a diehard NHL fan and now I cannot even watch it as the product is so bad. There are so few goals scored these days it has become a bore. The good old days of the Gordie How hat trick (goal, assist, fight) are long gone and you will probably never see that again. Cartoon logos, clutch and grab, no fighting and low scoring have turned the league into a joke.
It is long past time to remove Bettman from his post and get someone in there who can make hockey viable again.

lol, I am finishing up a large project today at work, I am going to do a dirty-bird into my bosses office, then spike down the three ring binder and superman-jump into a sea of my unsuspecting coworkers.

David Stern should be running away with this IMO....
He is the reason why the NBA is not doing so well right now, not because of America being stuck in a post-Jordan hangover. I cant wait till that little man quits.

Well I feel that these guys work there asses off just to keep their jobs. Offseason workouts, most of them out out in the hot summer sun just to keep their craft at top form. They sweat, they bleed, they break bones and fight through injuries, all for a bunch of fat, unathletic fans, some of which probably only touched a football just to give it to a player in high school.
I personally don't think there's anything wrong a player doing a Dallas *** in the endzone if he wants. The censorship for the endzone celebrations in the NFL is almost as bad as in college.... almost.
