Langer would be a Ryder Cupper since he's German. That series has been competive.

Also - while Langer still looks good, it's also relative to his peers on the Champions Tour. Seriously doubt he'd be able to hang with Ryder cup players.

I know many people with ugly swings that are good players. As they say - there are no pictures on the scorecard.

While he does hold a low handicap, I also read an article that the index was based on scores going back to 2009. Which means there aren't a lot of scores on there. So not sure how accurate his index would be. Either he's only posting his best scores, or the index is a bit stale.

Pretty much ignore all of golf from Pres Cup/Ryder Cup up until the first few events on California coast (Pebble).....
