Americans have dominated the series for a long long time.....might need to change the rules
Are there any rules that have an age limit?
Bernhard Langer could have easily benefited the team with his game.
Shake up the team with an out of the box captain's pick.
Also - while Langer still looks good, it's also relative to his peers on the Champions Tour. Seriously doubt he'd be able to hang with Ryder cup players.
I know many people with ugly swings that are good players. As they say - there are no pictures on the scorecard.
While he does hold a low handicap, I also read an article that the index was based on scores going back to 2009. Which means there aren't a lot of scores on there. So not sure how accurate his index would be. Either he's only posting his best scores, or the index is a bit stale.
