Wow, that is a cool story, but the more significant thing to me, is that you seemed to debunk the marriage/golf thing.

LOL not really, she goes golfing with me since I go to all of her marathon's which is an all day event. I only take her to small courses and par 3's. I am going to get her golfing lesson's just so she can keep pace of play. However she is very encouraging of my golf playing.

2nd favorite tourney of the year kicks off tomorrow. I don't think Rory is going to win this one, even though a lot of people are picking him. I'll go with Lee Westwood

So I am switching golf balls. For years I used Callaway Warbird and now I have it down to either the Pinnacle Dimension or the Callaway Big Bertha Diablo. Any suggestions?

Assuming your basis for these are reviews, price and having played them...

I'd swing by a range or a store and have a ball fitted. If nothing else, at least you know what attributes you should look for in a golf ball. In this era of technology - and the amount of fittings offered, its almost a no brainer.

If you hit a demo day at a range, the fitting can be had for free.

The timing suggests that TW was not happy that Williams was carrying Adam Scott's bag full time and most recently the British Open. I think Tiger felt Williams was cheating on him while he had to stay at home and was hurt and humiliated by William's all too public relationship with another man. I think we will end up finding that Williams may have been carrying other bags around as well and this may just be the tip of the iceberg. I saw a TMZ report that Williams was seen carrying grocery bags out of a store in New Zeland in the middle of the night. I imagine people will soon come out of the woodwork saying that Williams carried stuff for them too.

Strange I think, we all know TW is a control freak and we all know he was not too happy with that move.

Good read here and insight.

Nicklaus fired his caddy after 18 yrs because he failed to get pin placements.

When Nicklaus fired his caddie - St. Petersburg Times

Tiger has every right to fire Williams, and probably picked a good time when he's revamping his swing, recovering from injury, has a new swing coach and pretty much is starting over in his PGA career. Williams was famous only because of Tiger's success. He should be thankful to have been given the opportunity and moved on. Threatening to "tell all" in a book after he was fired tells a lot about Williams.
