Not saying it would change the results - but that data only goes back to the 79/80 season.
So a lot of Jack's career isn't even considered.

I just donated my dad's clubs & bag to the local driving range. They have a "trade-in" program so maybe these can go to good use. I've held onto these clubs since 1994, when my dad died. (He was a avid golfer.)

It was a PING bag that was huge, full of Hogan Director clubs. I took 3 balls and went to the putting green. I did ok, but not great.
Then I took the driver(on the range) and swung away. The first one I hit was perfect. Contact was perfect. No "jolt" in the grip. Ball flew about 260ish, straight as an arrow. Still had new balls (Top-Flites) and used just one. I went into the pro shop and asked if they took donated clubs. The kid says yes, as they have a "club trade-in" program. As soon I said that Ping bag is full of Hogan Directors, the guy from service came flying out to see what was what. Anyway, they were HAPPY to receive them, and I am happy that they can use them. They also have a "Junior Golfer" program, so maybe these can be used for that.

The other option was the trash can...

I was astounded to play golf yesterday with two 91-year-old guys. Both of them still had actual golf swings and could hit actual golf shots, not feeble bunts. The one guy got very good height and could carry the ball a solid 175 or so. Pretty amazing. I knew their ages only because their 75-year-old buddy alerted me on the second hole. At 69, it was fun to be "the kid" and the big hitter. What other sports can a 91-year-old actually enjoy and still perform at a reasonable level?

Congrats to Europe.

As a golf fan (more playing than watching, these days) - this was unfortunately not super exciting given the dominance the Europeans exhibited. Not to mention the time difference. You know something is wrong when the biggest attention getters in relation to the Ryder Cup was "hat gate" and Joey Lacava vs. Rory.

Hopefully - it will be a little more of a battle come 2025.

Evidently not enough threads/interest.

If you go back to the beginning of this thread - that was the topic - to start a subform for Golf.
The mod said when there are enough threads on the topic (indicating enough interest), they will create one.

We may have hurt ourselves by posting all golf stuff in this one thread.....

Headed to Myrtle Beach for January and February looking for course recommendations and ones to avoid. All courses in North and South Carolina would be in play.

Thanks
