Jordan Speith, the golf boys. Patrick Reed kinda rubs me the wrong way but overall there are a lot of guys to root for on the tour.

I only had one favorite golfer, Fuzzy Zoeller.

Had nothing to do with golf. I have no interest at all in the game.

It comes from this incident:

Shortly after Steve Stone had been announced as that year's winner of the Cy Young Award, he was in Phoenix on business. In the airport, a girl approached him and asked for his autograph. He signed for her, and when he gave it to her, she looked at it and said, "Steve Stone? Who are you?"

He replied, "I pitch for the Baltimore Orioles. I just won the Cy Young Award. Who did you think I was?"

She said, "I thought you were Fuzzy Zoeller, the golfer."

Too bad Fuzzy got himself in trouble with the "fried chicken/watermelon" comment about Tiger Woods.

I'm a casual golf fan, so I probably couldn't put together five guys.., but I like Mickelson right now.

My favorites from the past:
Curtis Strange (back-to-back US Open wins)
Arnold Palmer

If there are Canucks in the field, I pull for them. This year there's a handful and I think two of them are close to winning a tournament, Graham DeLaet and David Hearn. Will always root for hard-luck-but-doggedly-determined Mike Weir. I really hope he's healthy enough for the Senior Tour when the clock rolls around.

As to the others, I'm pretty much in the anybody-but-Tiger Woods camp.
