One site is reporting that Benoit's wife killed the child, he killed her and killed himself and left a suicide note. Though only one is claiming this, so I wouldnt take it for fact
That's the one which I was inclined to believe, but it's been confirmed that he strangled his wife on Friday, smothered his son either Sat night or Sunday, then hung himself on Monday. He left Bibles near them. Steroids have been found in the home. CNN.com - Breaking News, U.S., World, Weather, Entertainment & Video News
On a lighter note, Vinny Mac & his blown up limo work is kaput.
Not to mention they did the whole tribute before knowing all the facts. Those who said Benoit was a great father... way to pay tribute to a guy who killed his wife and kid.
I wonder how they'll come up with an excuse for the McMahon storyline.
I wonder how they'll come up with an excuse for the McMahon storyline.
They wont. It's like the WWE dosen't really try anymore. The McMahon storyline was a cry for help.
But getting back to the subject... Benoit was one of the greatest wrestlers and technical wrestlers the company ever had. He is (or, perhaps, was) a future hall of famer. It's just a shame that his legacy had to end like this. This is a terrible era for pro wrestling.
Even though he is now marked as a murderer, the Canadian Crippler will be missed. He was a great face wrestler, beloved by millions of fans around the world and had amazing tallent in the ring, also. It's just sad to see all that waisted.
