I heard an interesting segment on local talk radio today about this subject so I figure I will post the question on here.

A local sport talk guy today was slamming "adults" who wear team jerseys. He was saying that its immature and losers wear jerseys. Guys/gals who never had a chance to excel in sports etc etc etc. Needless to say there were a ton of callers ripping right back at him. What are your thoughts? Do wear a jersey of your favorite team?

I wear soccer jerseys all the time. I like them because I am a huge soccer fan but also because they look good being that they are like a regular shirt.

I personally think football jerseys look terrible on people because they are made to be worn with pads.

I dont see anything wrong with adults wearing jerseys though.

RjRobb2 - Question for you on soccer jerseys, because I dont know the 1st thing about it. DO different teams have sponsor shirts with small team logos mostly? Because I saw a catalog the other day and they all looked like that. One team had 6 or 7 different color schemes/sponsors etc.

Most teams do have shirt sponsors. You will find some that dont. National team jerseys do not have shirt sponsors.

OH ok cool. I had no idea how that worked. I saw a few that were pretty cool looking. Granted I dont know the difference between Manchester United and the United Way, they still looked neat. Plus they came with matching shorts and were fairly cheap.

They're mostly for people who are un-creative or who are showing their gang affiliation.

Jim Rome (I think it was Jim Rome, all those d-bags are interchangeable really) run the EXACT same segment about a year ago. These local yahoos probably ran out of material.
