ESPN - ground zero for Boston/New England team @ss-kissing. If you want to talk about rude and arrogant fans, look no further than the wicked pissahs of Masschusetts....

Philly fans are passionate, not rude - I saw a Flyers-Rangers game once at the old Spectrum and it was a great experience.

Philly is a great sports town - knowledgable fans who aren't afraid to boo, but still show up. We could toss every cliche in the book out there about them being miserable, used to failure etc., but I have had nothing but good experiences with my forays into Philly sports venues. If the Eagles ever win a Superbowl, that town will explode like no other town has after a sports victory.

That being said, it is probably the ONLY place in America where I would feel legitimately feel threatened wearing a Dallas Cowboys T-shirt. You don't swim with the hippos, and you dont rock Cowboys gear at Lincoln field - or anywhere in Central NJ. Part of the mystique. And yes, I miss that crappy concrete monstrosity called the vet.

Philadelphia fans are great fans, not lousy fans. It's just the reputation that our fans get and it is not fair that they get the most criticism. Chicago Cubs fans have done some really wacko stuff...like throw a beer at shane victorino WHILE he's trying to make a catch. But media doesn't care becuz it didn't happen in Philly.

The way I measure a great sports city is by seeing what happens when the city wins a championship. The Eagles winning the superbowl will cause Philly to erupt in pandemonium and hysteria far more unimaginable than other cities...and God knows how many millions will show up at the parade.

If 2 million showed up for a Phils parade, I can honestly attest to u that the Eagles parade will be even bigger
