Really looking forward to the big race on Saturday. It is going to be so crowded at Churchill on Saturday. It is so crowded that nobody goes there anymore.

I will be watching the race from the VIP party at Planet Hollywood Las Vegas. Like Hard Spun to win the race at a decent price. Should be a ton of value all over the card. Where are you investing and who do you like?

Still working on tomorrow's Hollyweird card. My selection will be a runner that has raced at 2, finished 2nd or 3rd in a graded prep, with a dosage index that I can live with. Grindstone is an example of a runner that fit my specs. Good luck with Hard Spun. I don't worry about layoffs, either.

Forgot this: will be "investing" just down the road from you at the Edgewater in Laughlin.

Great race and of course the most exciting sports moment of the year so far. The winner ran a strong race, showed his class but had all the luck. What a clean trip Street Sense worked out.

Yes he was the best in the race but I do not think Street Sense will sweep the triple crown. I think he is going to find trouble in the Preakness. I think the ailment that makes him lug in the lane/switch to lefty is going to flare up to be a major issue.

Hard Spun was my key horse and he ran great in the Derby. Set a fast pressured pace and was still running in the end for a deserving place finish. Street Sense even managed to clip heals with Hard Spun in the lane but at that point Street Sense was not going to be caught.

Looking forward to a great rematch in the Preakness.

I just hope there are no injuries. After last year, I will never look at horse racing the same way.
