A buddy of mine and I were discussing this topic on Saturday and we went back and forth for a few minutes about these two clowns. I think they both are idiots but he says that Jim Rome is legit. What do you guys and gals think? WHo is the biggest idiot between these two, or both?
After the Steelers-Cardinals Super Bowl, Jim Rome wen off on the referees for a couple of calls he believed to be "blown." He had his army of clones all fired up about this.
Problem is, neither of the calls in question were blown, and anyone with a shred of football IQ saw that.
Cowherd doesn't bother me too much. But Rome is such a pompous blowhard it makes me want to drink. I don't see how he's married. I'd love to put him out on the field in shoulder pads and helmets against some of the players he rips on. You wouldn't think it possible for a man to urinate so much out of fear.

Have you seen the clip of Jim Everret punking him? Oh it was great!
I love Rome, used to hate him and his show format and his style and delivery. However I have grown to love it. It takes about a year to fully understand all the references and inside jokes which makes the show so much better. If you just tried listening to him for 3 months you would have a better understanding but would still be missing a lot of material.
I cant listen to him, his voice sucks. His delivery is like a slow person trying to be funny. The dude just sucks.
